£89 - £99 per day

Job Duties:

1. Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher

2. Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for students

3. Implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher

4. Manage student behaviour and maintain discipline in the classroom

5. Support students with their learning and provide assistance as needed

6. Keep accurate records of attendance and report any issues to school staff

Required Qualifications:

- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications

Education:

- A degree in Education or relevant field is preferred

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively

- Knowledge of basic teaching principles

- Excellent organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Teaching Assistant qualification

Working Conditions:

- Work hours may vary depending on school schedules

- Must adhere to school policies and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
