Cover Supervisor in Eastleigh for September 2019

Teaching Personnel have a long standing relationship with a Ofsted rated 'Good' school based across the Eastleigh area. The school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to the role of Cover Supervisor. You will be required to cover classes in the absence of the teacher therefore we are looking for someone with good organisational skills, who is patient and assertive with a good sense of fairness and discipline.

Role of a Cover Supervisor

You will be expected to maintain behaviour management standards of children, which on occasion can be challenging, and possess the ability to motivate and encourage children appropriately to make positive choices. We expect applicants to have a can do attitude and the ability to form good relationships with our students/staff.

Duties will be varied and, as well as class cover, could include; providing classroom support, arranging displays of students work, preparing for open evenings or exams and other administrative tasks in support of the teacher.

The school has built a strong community feel over the last 10 years and would like to welcome applicants to be interested in meeting staff, tour of the school, shadow lessons and book in for informal chat to see if this is a school is the right fit for them.
