Secondary School Cover Supervisor

Full-time, term time only

Starting as soon as possible

Starting at £85 per day (for 8:30-3:00)

 

 Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Sheffield school to appoint a Cover Supervisor.

 Essential requirements for the role:

  • Good curriculum knowledge or willingness to learn and/or undertake training / research to improve
  • A DBS on the update service (or be able to apply for one)
  • Confidence in front of a classroom - expertise not required as all work will be pre planned. You will simply be leading the class.

 

Duties of the role:

  • Covering lessons across all subject area's in absence of Teacher.
  • Managing behaviour of students effectively following school policy
  • Ensuring the learning objective is understood and met
  • Providing feedback to students, Teachers and Senior Leadership team
  • Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of students
  • Following safeguarding policy
  • Identifying students who may need additional support
  • Using school systems to track attendance, behaviour and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
