Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a number of Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools around the west Cornwall area. We have a range of schools requiring additional Teachers and so we are looking for people available from anywhere between 3 – 5 days. We also require Cover Supervisors to work in small groups for intervention and tutoring.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be tasked to cover lessons in the absence of the usual teacher, delivering lessons across the entire KS3 and KS4 curriculum. Whilst you do not need to have expert subject knowledge, it is strong desired that you have a good academic record including A*-C in English and Maths especially. The school are seeking an excellent communicator, someone who can ensure that all pupils can access their learning and can work collaboratively with departments to ensure the smooth running and handover of lessons. It is important that you have a natural ability to lead and have a good classroom presence; confidence to implement school polices such as behaviour with a firm but fair approach.
