Exciting opportunity to join the support department of a large secondary school in Bury.
- Full time Cover Supervisor role (part-time negotiable).
- To start in September 2020 for the full academic year with the potential of a permanent contract.
- Covering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
- Earn up to GBP350 per week!
Our client secondary school in Bury are currently looking for a new cover supervisor to aid their support department, due to a staffing restructure in the new academic year.
The incoming applicant will be expected to supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher across different subject areas. All resources will be pre-set - you will be supervising the lesson, ensuring tasks are completed and managing behaviour in line with the school policies. It will be important to report any important updates to ensure the teacher is aware on their return.
This position is ideal for any applicants considering a future career in teaching but hoping to obtain further experience prior to making this decision. This position is also well suited to candidates who are looking for flexible work, alongside another role or a current course. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education however, any transferrable skills to work with children and young people will be considered.
Our partner school is located in Bury and can be easily accessed via the M66/A56and public transport links from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Prestwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
