Cover Supervisor

Job Duties:

The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Duties include managing the classroom, ensuring students are engaged in set work, and maintaining discipline and behaviour according to school policies.

Required Qualifications:

- A valid Right to Work in the UK

- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

A minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is essential
Experience working as Cover Supervisor preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Ability to follow lesson plans and manage classroom dynamics

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask

- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
