Cover Supervisor – Flexible Working
An oversubscribed and high-achieving secondary academy in central Bournemouth is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support lesson delivery across the curriculum on a flexible, ongoing basis from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching or experienced classroom supervisors seeking a new challenge.
Key responsibilities:

Supervise classes during staff absence, ensuring pupils remain engaged with pre-set work.

Maintain a calm and productive learning environment.

Uphold school policies, including behaviour expectations and safeguarding.

Build positive relationships with staff and students across all year groups.
The school is looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting.
-
Remains confident and composed when managing behaviour.
-
Can adapt quickly to changing environments and classroom dynamics.

Is reliable, punctual and well-organised.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
