Job description

Cover Supervisors Required – Secondary Schools Across Bolton

Start Date: After the Easter Break

We are seeking strong Cover Supervisors to work across a number of secondary schools in the Bolton area. These roles are ideal for individuals who can demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and strong classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
  • Delivering and overseeing pre‑planned lesson materials
  • Providing support to students where appropriate to ensure effective learning
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with each school’s established policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe, focused, and positive learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to engage and motivate students
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to working within different school environments
  • Experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
