Cover Supervisor – Full Time

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester 
Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Cover Supervisor to support within a specialist secondary provision in Bury.

This role would suit someone confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour, even if they do not currently hold a teaching qualification.

The role

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining structure
• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence
• Working flexibly across different subject areas

The ideal candidate

• Previous school or youth work experience
• Strong communication and classroom presence
• Confident behaviour management
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
