Cover Supervisors Required – Bolton Secondary Schools

After the Easter Break

We are seeking professional and dedicated Cover Supervisors to support a number of secondary schools in Bolton following the Easter break. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their experience within the education sector.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be required to:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence and ensure that pre-set work is delivered effectively
  • Maintain a calm, orderly, and purposeful learning environment
  • Manage pupil behaviour in accordance with school policies
  • Provide support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with pupils and staff

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Confidence when addressing groups of students
  • A professional and adaptable approach
  • Previous experience within a school environment is advantageous, though not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
