Cover Supervisor

Location: Bolton
Contract: Full-time / Ongoing – consistent need from the school
Start Date: ASAP / January
Pay: £100 per day

Teaching Personnel are working with a large secondary school in Bolton that has a consistent, ongoing need for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, develop professionally, and potentially progress into teaching in the future.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes across KS3 and KS4

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain on task

  • Provide support to students during lessons and maintain high expectations

  • Work closely with teaching staff and the cover manager

  • Supervise pupils during non-teaching times where required

  • Build positive relationships with pupils across the school

The Ideal Candidate

  • Confident, proactive, and able to manage a classroom

  • Experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work etc.)

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • Flexible and able to work across a range of subjects

  • A positive and professional approach to supporting students

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
