We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Maths Graduate Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 maths lessons at a forward-thinking secondary school in Rochdale.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-prepared maths lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

Support pupils with classwork, helping to explain mathematical concepts clearly and confidently.
-
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.

Work collaboratively with the maths department to raise attainment and engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who:
-
Holds a degree in Mathematics (or a closely related subject).
-
Has excellent communication and numeracy skills.
-
Is confident managing groups of students aged 11–16.
-
Has a genuine interest in education and supporting young learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
