We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor with English experience to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will help deliver high-quality English Language and Literature education while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital part in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting and develop skills in classroom management and student support.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects in the absence of regular teachers.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Support students with their learning and respond to questions or concerns.
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure seamless lesson delivery and continuity of education.
• Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to wider school activities.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson coverage and student engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

• A degree in English, History, Law, or other English-related subjects.
• Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting student success.
