Cover Supervisor – Fleet – January 2026 Start

Full-Time | Secondary | Suitable for Graduates & Unqualified Teachers

Teaching Personnel are working with a well-supported secondary school in Fleet who are seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join their team from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical classroom experience and build a strong foundation for a future career in teaching or school support.

This role would be suitable for graduates and unqualified teachers who are keen to develop their skills within a secondary school environment. You will supervise classes during staff absence, deliver pre-prepared work, and help maintain a positive and focused learning atmosphere across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.


The Role:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to a variety of classes

  • Maintain positive behaviour and ensure students remain engaged

  • Support learners of differing abilities and needs

  • Manage the classroom effectively in line with school policies

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff about student progress and conduct

  • Graduates or aspiring teachers seeking school-based experience

  • Confident communicators with strong classroom presence

  • Ability to build rapport with secondary-aged students

  • Reliable, adaptable, and proactive attitude

  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
