Do you have experience tutoring young people within any of the core subjects (English/Math/Science)?

Are you looking for an opportunity to help under developing pupils?

Do you currently live in the Tameside area and looking for flexible working hours to suit your needs?

The position in hand will consist of:

  • Working closely with pupils throughout the core subjects, developing their learning.
  • Ensuring for consistent progression with the students targeted levels.
  • Provide a positive and nurturing nature within the classroom setting.
  • Have the ability to build an excellent rapport with the group or pupils in hand.

Some of the students in hand have SEN and SEMH requirements, meaning any sort of experience with children who have similar needs, could prove to be a valuable asset for the school.

It’s important for the school that the applicant has experience within a similar setting and has the ability to track and maintain a high standard of tutoring. Working with the school, Teaching Personnel would be able to arrange a suitable time for yourself to work for 1-3 hours at a time, when its best suited for yourself and the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
