Core Subject Tutor

Are you a Core Subject Tutor who is looking to increase the work you are receiving? Maybe you're a Teacher looking to deliver the lesson without any behaviour issues? 

Teaching Personnel have been chosen as an approved supplier of Tuition for the National Tuition Programme, a government led scheme that will see schools able to book Tutors across a number of subjects at a highly discounted rate! As a result, we are looking to recruit a number of English, Maths and Science Tutors across the Newcastle area to meet the demand of the tuition.

About the role:

• Maths, English and Science Tutoring available from January 2021 across Newcastle
• Option to complete tutoring in school or online
• 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 tutoring sessions
• Sessions can take place either inside or outside of school time, depending on the school's requirements
• Hourly rate of GBP25-GBP35 per hour for Secondary tuition depending on group size

Candidate Requirements:

• Core Subject Specialist in either Maths, Physics or Science
• Happy to tutor pupils between the ages 11-18
• Minimum of 6 months tuition or teaching experience
• Hold a Child Workforce only Enhanced DBS Certificate on the DBS Update Service, or be willing to get one
• Willing to complete compulsory tuition training free of charge from Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
