This position is suitable for any IT or Computing teacher looking to secure an introduction to their next position in education, including those who are newly qualified in the profession. As this is a specialist position, the school would need all applicants to have previous experience teaching at GCSE extensively, as well as being able to plan, deliver and mark schemes of work to advance their learners’ knowledge and confidence in the subject.

Situated just off the M60 motorway, our client is well established and has a long standing reputation of excellence, this is largely due to a proven track record of promoting social and educational growth in the young people of the community. The school moved to a purpose built site recently, which had teaching and learning at the forefront of its design. Modern facilities throughout ensure students and staff can use technology to advance teaching and learning.

This position is suitable for a Computing teacher who specialises in Computing or Computer Science, and have taught at KS4 previously. They will need to be able to teach the new spec at GCSE, ensuring they can deliver exciting and engaging lessons. There is no preference for experience and the school are happy for applicants to be experienced practitioners or newly qualified Computing teachers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
