Job Title: Computing Teacher
Location: NN4, Northampton
Contract Type: Full-time, immediate start available
Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Computing Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of digital innovators? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in NN4, Northampton, on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and enthusiasm for computing with students, helping them to develop essential skills for the digital age.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computing lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
- Teach a range of topics within the computing curriculum, including programming, computer science, and digital literacy.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and empowered to succeed.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Computing or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching computing subjects at secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages, software applications, and digital technologies.
- Passion for education and a commitment to inspiring students to pursue careers in computing and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
