Computer Science Teacher to start in January, Stockport

Secondary schools in Stockport require a Computer Science teacher for January due to an upcoming departure from the IT department. The school are looking for a Computer Science teacher with outstanding curriculum knowledge and a passion for Computing.

You will be working within a small Computer Science department with five full time teachers. Commencing in January this is an open vacancy with the potential to gain a permanent contract after an initial temporary period.

Situated in an affluent area of Cheshire East the school achieves well above national averages academically with 63% of students achieving sat least 5 A*-C grades including Maths and English. The Computer Science timetable will consist of teaching across KS3 and GCSE level so prior experience of this is essential with na option to teach A Level Computing.

The school are open to application from Computing NQTs or experienced ICT teachers who have since retrained to deliver the new computer science curriculum. The schools latest Ofsted report highlighted the Head teacher vision for the schools being the driving force behind the schools uplift in academic achievement.

Located in the SK12 post code of Cheshire East the schools has 30% of students are eligible for pupil premium.
