Join the IT department of a large secondary school in Bury known for its recent track record of progressing results.

  • Full-time IT & Computer Science teacher.
  • Required from April 2021 or earlier if possible for twelve months.
  • Paid to teaching scale (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604).
  • Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

The incoming IT & Computer Science teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated IT lessons to pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. The member of staff will be taking on a full teaching timetable and will also be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities. The school has interactive whiteboards in most classrooms with several computer suites located throughout the building. Pupils also have access to laptops which can be used both inside and outside lessons for class and homework assignments.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience teaching IT to pupils across KS3 and GCSE level alongside QTS.

The school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via the M66 and A58 from surrounding areas such as Prestwich, Bolton and Salford. For applicants who don’t drive, our client school can also be accessed via public transport from areas surrounding Greater Manchester such as Ramsbottom, Rochdale and central Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
