Job description

Full time Computer Science teacher required for a Bolton based secondary school.

Due to a member of staff set to take maternity leave from Easter 2020, the Headteacher is seeking a skilled Computer Science teacher on a full time basis to join their welcoming staff team.

-          Full time Computer Science Teacher –Bolton.

-          Small secondary school close to public transport links

-          Opportunity to secure a permanent contract from September 2020.

-          Teaching Computer Science up to GCSE

-          Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490.

The school currently serves just over 600 pupils aged 11-16 and is located at the heart of Bolton. The Computer Science department has received a full refurbishment providing access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. Roles and responsibilities will include;

-          Deliver dynamic lessons to pupils up to GCSE.

-          Manage a full time table leading the Computer Science curriculum, meeting the needs of all pupils through varied teaching and learning strategies

-          Manage behaviour according to school behaviour policies.

Located just off the M61 motorway the school also has various public transport options available with links throughout Greater Manchester.
