Computer Science Teacher - Full time from September 2019

Stockport (South Manchester)

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of an a well structured mixed secondary school in South Manchester (Stockport) who are looking to recruit a Computer Science Teacher on full-time temporary basis from September 2019 with a view of becoming permanent with the school from January.

Due to a recent restructure in the schools ICT department, the head teacher of this secondary school in Stockport is looking to take on a Computer Science Teacher (experienced or newly qualified) from September 2019 who can teach Computer Science up to GCSE level.

  • Computer Science Teacher - starting Sept 2019
  • Full time (8:30 - 3:30 Monday to Friday)
  • Temporary post initially, with a view of becoming permanent from January
  • Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
  • Able to teach up to GCSE level
  • Vacancy open to both experienced and newly qualified computer science teachers

Applicants

The ideal candidate for the role will hold QTS in Computer Science and be able to teach this subject with a genuine passion and enthusiasm, up to GCSE level, to drive high results in the subject. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering a full Computer Science timetable, including areas such as algorithms, networks, cyber security and system architectures.

The incoming Computer Science teacher will join a well supportive and inclusive secondary school in the Stockport area of South Manchester which boasts modern facilities to assist you in delivering inspiring and engaging computer science lessons!

The school is located just outside of Stockport, neighbouring Tameside and Cheshire East, and can be easily reached via car or public transport from in and around South/Central Manchester.
