Our partner school in Portsmouth and seeking to appoint a motivated and highly driven Teacher of Computer Science to join them in April 2021.

Key responsibilities will include:

• implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and support a designated curriculum area or areas, as appropriate;

• monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/Form Tutor;

• facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential;

• contribute to raising standards of student attainment;

• share and support the School's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

The school is a co-educational inclusive, modern academy that strives to produce well-educated and well-rounded individuals who will be responsible and contributing members of society. The school site is a large purpose built facility that continues to be modernised to ensure all teachers are able to teach in large spaces with modern technology and areas to hold both practical and written work.

The faculty of business within the school monitor the IT department with a level of freedom within the curriculum to suit the teachers specialities and areas of expertise.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
