We are currently recruiting Classroom Support Assistants to work on a day-to-day basis across a variety of SEN and SEMH schools in Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are patient, resilient, and confident supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviours.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs within the classroom.
- Assisting teachers with delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Building positive relationships with students to encourage learning and development.
- Managing challenging behaviours using a calm and nurturing approach.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
- Helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
- A calm, patient, and resilient personality.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience within education, care, youth work, sports coaching, support work, or similar backgrounds would be advantageous.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
