Calling all Graduates! Teaching Personnel are working with multiple Secondary schools in Sheffield that are in high demand for teaching assistants and classroom supervisors to create a pool of regular staff to use on a day to day basis for any staffing and cover needs once schools are open in September.

  • Graduates looking for experience in schools before applying for a PGCE or Teacher Training programme
  • Youth workers or candidates experienced working with young adults
  • PE/Sports Coaches

What the role entails:

  • As a Classroom Supervisor you will be required to go into lessons where the class teacher is absent to lead and deliver the pre-planned lesson
  • All classwork will be left for you and you may have support staff within the lesson to help
  • Ensure students are engaged and on task
  • Strong behaviour management skills due to the nature of the role in accordance to school behaviour policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
