Exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. 

  • Full time (school hours)
  • Working within Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Supporting pupils with special needs
  • Immediate start once cleared for work


Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary school, seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will be working as a class based Teaching Assistant. This will involve supporting the teacher with the lessons and helping pupils with their work. You will also be required to support children on a 1-1 basis and will be responsible for behaviour management and providing emotional support. 

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, pro-active person who has a real passion for supporting children with behaviour/ SEN. Experience in a school setting isn't required, but you should have some experience working with children with special needs. You must be a confident and resilient person.

You must have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English (C or above) .

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
