We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Southport. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact across two academic terms, covering from Easter through to Christmas. The school is well‑established within the community and is known for its supportive leadership, inclusive environment, and commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a primary class, delivering engaging lessons that stretch and inspire pupils of varying abilities. You will plan, assess, and deliver the national curriculum, ensuring pupils make strong progress throughout the term. The role is suited to a committed practitioner who is passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and maintaining strong classroom routines.

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that meet curriculum standards

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • A positive, proactive, and professional approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
