KS2 Teacher for General Cover in Wallasey

Location: CH44

Start Date: April 2026

Contract: Full-time

Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56 per day

Teaching Personnel are delighted to announce that we are working with a vibrant and friendly primary school who are seeking to recruit a new and enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join them. This will be an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking for a fresh, new challenge and is driven to make a difference to their pupils’ education.

About the role:

  • Plan and fulfil accurate and engaging lessons to a class of KS2 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a welcoming and child-friendly learning environment for all pupils which will support their social and academic growth.
  • Be able to accurately feedback to your colleagues within the school setting as well as external agencies and parents.
  • Be able to work open and honestly with colleagues.
  • Regularly assess and track pupils progress to ensure that all targets are met and highlight any gaps that may need additional actions.

What are we looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching KS2 or ideally a previous Year 6 class.
  • Good communication, confidence and good behaviour management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
