PPA Cover Teacher – Primary School in Crosby

Start Date: Easter 2026
Contract Length: Until July 2026
Location: Crosby, Liverpool

A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Crosby is seeking an adaptable and committed PPA Cover Teacher to join their team from Easter through to the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety, strong support structures, and a positive school environment.

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Deliver high‑quality lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 to provide PPA cover for staff.
  • Use provided planning to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school.
  • Adapt quickly to different year groups and classroom environments.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A flexible, positive, and professional approach.
  • Ability to deliver lessons confidently across multiple year groups.
  • ECTs with excellent placement references are welcome to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
