Class Teacher – (Sheffield & Barnsley)

Are you a passionate and driven Class Teacher looking to make a difference in Sheffield and Barnsley? We are working with several warm and welcoming primary schools that are seeking inspiring teachers to join their teams immediately and from September 2025.


Location: Covering Sheffield & Barnsley

Role: Class Teacher (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)

Start Date: ASAP & September 2025

⏰ Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Long-Term, Permanent or Supply Positions


✏️ What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Track and support pupil progress across the curriculum
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
  • Uphold school values and safeguarding standards

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (flexible depending on preference)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, nurturing, and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to inclusive and high-quality education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
