Flexible Teaching Assistant – Clapham
Day-to-Day TA Opportunities with 1:1 Support
Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit caring, adaptable, and reliable Teaching Assistants to provide flexible day-to-day support in primary schools across Clapham. This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety, want to gain experience across different school settings, and are confident offering 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.
Day-to-day supply work gives you the chance to choose when you work, build valuable experience, and make a difference in the lives of children – all without the long-term commitment.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Work under the guidance of class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored strategies
- Assist small groups with learning activities when required
- Promote positive behaviour and help pupils engage with their learning
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms and routines across schools

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children in schools, childcare, or similar settings
- Confidence providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEND or behavioural needs
- A kind, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability for at least one day per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
