A dynamic and passionate Chemistry Teacher is sought by an Ofsted-rated "GOOD" secondary school located in the picturesque county of Kent. Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative Chemistry lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
*Assess, record, and report on the attendance, progress, development, and attainment of students whilst keeping electronic records as required.
*Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and programs.
*Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events.
*Foster a positive learning environment that stimulates curiosity and enthusiasm for learning among students.
*Implement and adhere to the school’s policies and procedures.

Requirements:
*Hold a recognized teaching qualification in the UK (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
*Possess a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject.
*Demonstrable experience of teaching Chemistry at secondary school level, including GCSE.
*A thorough understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
*The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students to achieve their full potential.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
*A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
*Enhanced DBS clearance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
