Catholic secondary school seeking English teacher in Wandsworth, South West London.

Easter 2019 start.

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Catholic secondary school in the Wandsworth area of South West London, and we're seeking to aid their recruitment for a English teacher on a temporary basis for a position teaching from Easter through to the summer.

Required from Easter or sooner if possible, this high achieving secondary school are looking to recruit a talented and hard working English teacher who can positively impact pupils view on the subject and ensure they have a strong chance to achieve their potential in the summers exams.

(With a strong network of support throughout the school, applications are welcome from English teachers of all experience levels; this includes newly qualified English teachers for an immediate or Easter start).

  • English teacher, full time from April or sooner if possible
  • Well regarded Catholic secondary school in the Wandsworth area of South West London.
  • Easily accessible via A3 and public transport
  • English GCSE pass rates exceeding 65% (A*-C in 2016)
  • Newly qualified and experienced English teachers welcome to apply
  • Initial supply appointment with a view to securing school contract

Best described as a well established Catholic secondary school with a culture for achievement and diversity, this is a slightly larger than average school with excellent facilities and first rate support and training opportunities. Ofsted grade this as a good school, with some elements being classes as outstanding. The successful English teacher applying will be working in a close knit faculty, teaching English to pupils who succeed and on the whole make progress beyond the national average statistics.
