Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Catering and Design & Technology Teacher to work across a range of secondary schools in the Northampton area. Whether you're a seasoned educator or a passionate ECT looking to gain varied experience, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver hands-on, engaging lessons that inspire students and develop essential life skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering engaging lessons in Catering, Food Technology, and Design & Technology
- Planning and preparing lessons that meet national curriculum requirements
- Supporting students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working flexibly across multiple schools, gaining valuable experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Catering/Food Tech and/or DT at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach
- A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
