Care/Support Workers: SEN Teaching Assistant Roles

Are you currently working in Care, Residential or Support work and seeking a new opportunity?

If you have experience in caring for children / adults with mental health difficulties, learning difficulties, SEN or elderly people, and are seeking a new opportunity, why not consider a support role in SEN Schools?

We are looking for candidates in the Reading/Bracknell/Wokingham areas who have the ability to support children aged 4-18 with varying SEN including Autism, Down Syndrome, PMLD, ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

You should be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to caring for young people. As a Teaching Assistant you will be expected to provide personal care and also support through a variety of classroom-based activities and lessons including sensory learning and outdoor play.

The young people should be at the heart of everything you do. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you will assist with their physical and emotional needs whilst championing their dignity and respecting their independence.

We have permanent roles available, as well temporary roles. Whether it's part-time or full-time you are looking for.

The working hours will generally be 8:30 - 3:30
