About the role

A friendly and small primary school (NW1) are looking for a recent Psychology graduate who has a passion for helping pupils with speech and language difficulties. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is to start immediately.

This post will offer you the chance to make a positive influence on the pupil's development, and in turn allow them to gain experience in a long-term role as they work within a fast-paced environment. You will be working alongside a devoted school staff team, as well learning from SEN professionals within their own right.

The SEN Assistant position is suitable towards a graduate who either desires to become a Speech and Language Therapist themselves, or is looking to enhance their experience working with SEN statemented children, before perhaps boarding on a PGCE in September 2018.

The school belongs in a thriving area of London, which has established a major importance within the community; as a hub of learning and activity which simultaneously creates and benefits from a passionate local pride. It is located just 5 minutes away from the nearest tube station, and boasts strong bus links to the school's door - therefore it is easily accessible.
