Business Teacher

A Southampton College are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Business committed to ensuring learners fulfil their potential. The college department delivers both A level Business Studies and the vocational BTEC Business Diploma.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Business. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom. You will have the desire to be part of a successful teaching team and a willingness to contribute to new initiatives within the department.

The role also has an attractive opportunity for the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply for the role of Vocational Level 3 Business Subject Leader which attracts an annual allowance of GBP2,678

Due to the Business department being very ambitious the successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Teacher or hold relevant qualifications.
• Would be desirable if you hold a relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Passionate about having a career in teaching.
• Have good knowledge of the Business curriculum.
• Have proven experience as a PE teacher and would be desirable you are capable of covering other subjects.
