Teaching personnel are the UK leading education staffing provider, working with a large number of excellent schools within the Berkshire area. We are looking for a fully qualified Business Studies teacher who is available full time starting September 2020.

The school we are representing is a highly successful and popular independent school with a strong emphasis on the traditional values of hard work, honesty, responsibility and respect for others.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated Teacher of Business Studies to join an excellent school team on a fulltime, permanent basis.  The successful candidate will play a vital role in raising achievement and attainment; and will benefit from working with highly motivated pupils within a small class environment. The candidate must be available full time, Mon to Fri 8.30am to 3.30pm.

The right candidate will:

  • Be an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher with a track record of raising student engagement and achievement
  • Be able to support students in reaching their full potential, including employing a range of pedagogical approaches
  • Be interested in Self-Directed Learning and be open to different learning approaches
  • Be committed to student leadership and encourage teamwork and collaboration
  • Respect the school’s ethos, aims and values
  • Enjoy being part of a supportive and progressive team
  • Be willing to engage in continued professional development

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status,
  • The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results,
  • Excellent classroom management skills,
  • Excellent organisational and ICT skills,
  • You have passion for Education,

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
