We look for teachers who are resilient, highly driven and self motivated, who will go the extra mile to ensure that students achieve beyond their own expectations.
Your opportunity
The schools faculty current consists of Business Studies and ICT. It is led by its Director of Learning at Trust Level, though has its own Head of Department within the Academy trust. The department currently delivers both subject to GCSE level with a BTEC option for ICT. If you are able to deliver both subject this would be advantageous, though not necessary.
The department recognises is crucial role within STEM, as this has largely been a school focus for a number of years. The school works hard to develop cross curricular links to ensure consistent approaches to develop wider learning skills of its pupils. The position exists as the faculty grows owing to school expansion.
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or equivalent with a supportive undergraduate degree
Plan and deliver a broad yet balanced curriculum inclusive of all pupils
Support the subject area where possible
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback
Support the subject lead
Contribute to raising standards of students attainment
The school are able to consider full time, part time, job share and a temporary years contract.
