Are you an experienced and passionate Business Studies teacher seeking a new role?
My name is Hollie (an education consultant at Teaching Personnel based in the Kent branch) and a school I work closely with in Gravesend are currently seeking a new Business Studies teacher to start asap or from Term 5 (whichever suits).
The role
Teaching KS4 and KS5 (GCSE, BTEC and A Level) students in preparation for their exams
Full time timetable with PPA
It is essential that you are experienced in planning, marking and assessing in the GCSE, BTEC and A Level areas of Business Studies
The Head of Department is extremely supportive and passionate, who is seeking a colleague with the same tenacity and commitment for the subject and students.
The school
The school is extremely popular and over subscribed, known for its welcoming and supportive ethos for both students and staff. Well being and a manageable work life balance is a priority for staff and at the forefront of the senior leadership team's minds, to ensure that all staff feel valued and are happy in their roles.
In their most recent Ofsted report, the school was graded 'Good' and the following was written by the Inspector:
'Pupils behave very well at the school. They are kind and respectful towards each other and their teachers... In lessons, we saw pupils work hard and make effective use of feedback from their teachers... One pupil, voicing the opinions of a group of pupils, said, 'Our school is a great community. It is like a family here. We have friends in every year.'
If you feel you are interested in this role and would like to be considered for it, please send your CV through.
