Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a BSL teaching assistant for a Year 2 student in a mainstream primary school in Corby. The school has been rated as Good by Ofsted and students have given excellent feedback, reporting feeling safe and happy at school. Multi-disciplinary teams, an innovative approach to learning and highly enthusiastic staff and pupils, make this school a highly desirable and rewarding place to work.

• Temporary to permanent position (if successful)

• Working 1:1 to support student

• Negotiable salary (depending on experience)

As a successful candidate you must have:

• A good level of British Sign Language (Level 2 BSL minimum)

• Proof of right to work in the UK

• 2 Proofs of address within the last 3 months

• Be able to provide 2 references

• Valid DBS certificate (on the update service) or willing to complete a new one

• Experience working in a school or supporting children and adolescents

• A confident personality with an open mind and the ability to adapt to new environments

• SEN experience desirable

• Relevant degree desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
