Are you trained in British Sign Language? Are looking for experience in a secondary school setting? If so we have the perfect role for you!
Teaching Personnel are looking for a British Sign Language trained individual to work within one of our mainstream schools in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will have BSL qualification and have a calm and have a nurturing style. The role will begin in September 2019 with the school being easily accessible by public transport.
Responsibilities of this role will be:
- British Sign Language Qualification
- Experience working with children and/or adults with hearing needs
- Calm and engaging support style
- Behaviour Management/ Intervention experience
- Child Only DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply
