Biology teaching post - Greenwich based Catholic School- Jan 2020.

Biology teacher required for KS3/KS4 position at Catholic school based in Greenwich – starting from January 2020.

Rate: GBP150 - GBP215 per day.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Ofsted rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features Catholic Secondary school to source a Biology teacher to commence a role from January 2020 on a long term supply basis through to July 2020- the successful candidate has the option of a perm contract from this point if interested.

The Catholic school are looking to a Science teacher with experience at KS3-4 level in Biology, with this role being open to NQT’s as well as experienced Science teachers. Alongside the fantastic Science facilities to assist teaching the school also provide LSAs in class to ensure good behaviour and equal progress.

Ofsted have rated the school as “Good” and have talented and cohesive leadership. They were quote saying:

“Staff and pupils are very positive about your leadership and you have the unqualified support of governors.”

“Those staff, pupils and parents who responded to the Ofsted surveys are proud of the school and its traditions; the large majority confirm that pupils are safe and happy at school.”

Location

  • Greenwich.

Requirements

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS (for teachers).
  • Teachers would require experience teaching Science at secondary level (from KS3-KS4) – Biology specialism.
  • Expect an eager teacher with good behaviour control and academic knowledge.
