Biology Teacher needed – Start April 2021 – Daily rate GBP138 – 180 – Full-time role – CF39 Area – Potential Permanent contract to the successful candidate

The role –

-        Full teaching timetable

-        KS3 and KS4 Experience needed

-        QTS or NQT status

-        CF39 area

-        Elements of KS5 support – Preferred not essential

-        Supporting a KS3 form class

-        Potential permanent contract after probation period

Our larger comprehensive school in the Porth area are seeking a passionate Biology teacher who is looking to make a difference. They are looking for the successful Biology teacher to support the return to school and help with the Welsh curriculum catch up programme. You will be given a full teaching timetable supporting KS3 general science and KS4 GCSE science. The school prefer someone who can support elements of KS5 Biology revision classes, but this is not essential.

The school has a large science department with four other science practitioners who are excited to welcome a new member to the team. The department is fully equipped to ensure that you can provide the best teaching to your pupils throughout. ICT suites, Laboratories, classrooms with interactive whiteboards and more will be made available to you. The school are looking for someone to undertake full teaching responsibilities for the successful Biology teacher including marking, planning and liaising with the SLT team to help develop the education provided within the school.

The school are encouraging all Biology and general science teachers to apply, SLT are happy to provide additional training from the head of department as well as additional CPD courses.
