Biology teacher Manchester

  • Large mixed secondary school close to central Manchester
  • Temporary post with possible permanent contract (MPS/UPS)

Large inner city secondary school in Manchester seeking to hire a Biology teacher for the remainder of the academic year. Do you specialise in Biology? Can you teach your subject to GCSE and engage pupils through carefully planned lessons and have an impact on their learning?

This temporary post starting in November is open to all Biology teachers, whether you are newly qualified or experienced this Biology teaching post in Manchester could be ideal for you.

- Biology teacher , NQT or experienced teachers welcome to apply

- Full time post for remainder of academic year

- Potential permanent contract for suitable Biology teachers

- MPS/UPS (£22,245 - £37,871)

- Large and well facilitated Manchester secondary school

The successful Biology teacher applying for this position will be teaching in a supportive environment where staff and pupils hold strong relationships and disruption in lessons is at a minimum. You will be required to teach Biology across the age and ability range with some lower school Science teaching, GCSE Biology teaching experience is essential for this post.

Located in Manchester, close to the Oldham border and serving a catchment area of high white British heritage, this is a large and vastly improved secondary school with modern facilities throughout. The most recent Ofsted inspection highlighted the schools recent improvement, any Biology teachers interested are welcome to have a tour and meet with the department prior to an interview or teaching observation.
