Behaviour Support Assistant required in North Sheffield - degree level education or level 3/4

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Behaviour Support Worker based in North Sheffield who has a passion for working with young people. The post will be to start as soon as possible and will be for the foreseeable future, with the exciting possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff.

We are looking for a driven, hard working individual who has extensive behaviour based experience and knowledge. You will be patient, confident and committed to making a positive impact in children’s lives.

You must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with pupils, teaching staff, carers and families.

It is essential that you have the following experience:

• Build up positive and effective relationships with pupils, families, teaching staff and the multi disciplinary team within the school

• Genuine passion for making a different to young peoples lives

• Resilient

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own CPD Academy.
