Have you got any experience working with Primary aged pupils with SEMH difficulties (EBD) or challenging behaviour?
Are you looking to work in an education setting and believe you could positively influence the lives of pupils in school who have came from vulnerable background?
Do you have any experience in any of the following backgrounds: care services, prisons, youth worker, sports coaching or psychology?
I am working with a primary school based in Sutton who are looking for someone who has experience working with child who have social, emotional mental health (SEMH). The school is a mainstream primary with a good ethos. The head teacher is very involved in everything the school does. The school is part of the communityand there is a good sense of a family feel.
Responsibilities
To encourage pupils to join in with all activities and to take a full and active part in school life.
To prepare, modify and adapt resources and learning materials for the pupil as agreed with the class teacher and other professionals.
To assist in resolving any behavioural, social and emotional difficulties which may arise.
To encourage the pupil to develop a positive self image, and to develop confidence in their abilities and communication with others.
