Behaviour mentor/Youth worker position available in specialist behaviour school near Crofton Park.

Are you able to speak to young people on their level? Can you get through to youths who are having a difficult time at home and help them to do the best they can at school?

- Provide 1:1 support in a mixture of academic lessons and practical, vocational activities including life and social skills
- Act as a mentor and positive role model at all times
- Encourage students to make the right choices and, where appropriate, assist students with re-integrating back into mainstream education
- Full time, long term position where you will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role if you like the school
Benefits:
- Daily pay rates between £60 and £85 per day, dependent on experience
- Work during term time only so you get all the school holidays
- Hours are 08:30am - 15:30pm with reduced contact time
- You will be invited to take part in all whole school training sessions
- Pension scheme available
If you think you can make a difference to the young people at this school, please send your CV today to be considered for this role.
