Teaching Personnel are supporting a specialist provision in the centre of Wakefield that provides a tailored curriculum to pupils with additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
We are actively recruiting for Behaviour Support Workers to join the provision as soon as possible. Initially the role is full time until the end of the academic year; however the role may become permanent for the successful candidate.
As a Behaviour Support Worker you will be expected to work flexibly across all four of the schools sites where you will be supporting students throughout Key Stage 1 - 4. As this is a specialist school, your main role is to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health who may display aggressive behaviour.
This is a challenging but extremely rewarding role. You will be supported by dedicated team of staff all of whom are passionate about providing an education to students that have been excluded from mainstream. You will adhere to safeguarding guidelines and school policies and you will act in a professional and compassionate manor.
