Role Overview: As a Behaviour Support Worker, your role will be crucial in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for students, especially those from tough backgrounds. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups
• Collaborating with teaching staff to implement effective behavioural interventions
• Establishing positive relationships with students
• Monitoring and tracking student progress
• Implementing strategies to address challenging behaviours
• Contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Worker or in a similar role
• In-depth understanding of behavioural interventions and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
• Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
• Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a high school environment
